Hi, one thing that might be a little confusing, cross-validation doesn't directly address the overfitting issue, all it does is help get a better approximation of the model's performance on unseen data. You can of course reuse the models created and each k step to create an ensemble predictor which might help in the end. But in the end it is just an evaluation strategy.
